Description

Yi Guan Jian (One Link Decoction) is a classical Qing dynasty formula from Wei Zhi-xiu's Xu Ming Yi Lei An (Continuation of Famous Physicians' Organized Cases). This 10:1 powdered extract nourishes liver blood and kidney yin while simultaneously coursing liver qi, addressing the interconnected nature of blood, yin, and qi circulation.

Clinical Applications

  • Traditionally used to address patterns associated with liver blood-kidney yin vacuity with concomitant liver depression qi stagnation
  • Supports healthy digestive function in cases of stomach duct distention and fullness

  • Traditionally used to address patterns associated with acid regurgitation

  • Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), 68 mg
  • Chuan Lian Zi (Fructus Toosendam), 45 mg

Recommended Dosage

Three capsules two times per day equal not less than 30 grams of bulk medicinals. However, because our extraction process is so much more efficient than stove-top decoction, we believe this amount of extract is actually more like the equivalent of 45-60 grams of bulk-dispensed herbs.

Cautions

This formula should not be used for distention and pain due to phlegm or dampness.
