Description
Run Chang Wan is a classical formula from Shen Jin-ao's Qing dynasty text "Shen Shi Zun Sheng Shu" (Master Shen's Book Venerating Life), published in 1773 CE. This gentle moistening formula supports healthy bowel function by nourishing fluids and promoting natural elimination. Blue Poppy's version is a 10:1 powdered extract in 500 mg gelatin capsules.

Recommended Dosage
According to Him-che Yeung in Handbook of Chinese Herbs and Formulas, Vol. 2, the standard daily dose in decoction for this formula is 60 grams. Because of the 10:1 concentration ratio and the efficiency of our manufacturing process it would take only 8 capsules per day of Blue Poppy's version of this formula to equal the standard daily dose. The actual prescribed dose should be determined by the practitioner on a case by case basis.
