Description

Four Cold Extremities is a classical harmonizing formula first presented in the Discussion of Cold Damage around 220 A.D. This formula addresses patterns resulting from constrained Qi in the Interior, ranging from simple presentations of occasional cold extremities to more complex Liver and Spleen disharmony patterns. The formula disperses while also astringing and nourishing, facilitating both ascent and descent.
