Tao Hong Si Wu Tang is a classical herbal formula that combines the foundational Four Substance Decoction (Si Wu Tang) with blood-moving herbs peach kernel and carthamus flower. This modified formula supports healthy blood circulation and addresses patterns associated with blood stasis while nourishing blood.

  • Peach kernel (tao ren)
  • Carthamus flower (hong hua)
  • Cnidium root (chuan xiong)
  • Tang-kuei root (dang gui)
  • Red peony root (chi shao)
