The generally recommended dosage of Shen Tong Zhu Yu Tang in capsule form is four capsules, two to three times daily; or as loose granules, 4.5 g mixed with hot water, 2-3 times per day. However, always follow your healthcare provider's instructions, as the dosage can vary based on your condition and response to treatment.
Women who are pregnant, nursing, or postpartum as well as people with liver disease, should avoid or use Shen Tong Zhu Yu Tang with caution. As with any Chinese herb, we recommend consulting with a qualified practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) about Shen Tong Zhu Yu Tang before any course of treatment is started.
