Rehmannia Eight Combination is the literal translation of Ba Wei Di Huang Wan, also known as Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan (Precious Golden Tonify the Qi Pill). This classical formula from Zhang Zhong-Jing's Essentials of the Golden Cabinet contains tonics for both Yin and Yang, with Yang tonics that add warmth to the lower burner to assist the Bladder in water transportation.
