Four Substances (Si Wu Tang) is the foundational classical formula for building Blood, originating from the Imperial Grace Formulary of the Tai Ping Era (982-992 A.D.). This harmonious blend balances the nourishing and moving aspects of Blood through two complementary pairs of herbs. It nourishes Heart and Liver Blood while supporting healthy circulation and overall wellbeing.

Cautions
This formula should not be used with Blood deficiency accompanied by severe weakness and labored breathing. Use with caution during pregnancy. Due to the cloying nature of this formula, it is inappropriate for patterns with an abundance of Dampness.
