Description
Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan (Heavenly Emperor Supplement the Heart Elixir) is a classical formula from Hong Jiu-yu's early Qing dynasty text She Sheng Mi Pou (1638 CE). This formula has been modified by replacing Zhu Sha with Hu Po to comply with FDA regulations. It supports heart and kidney function while nourishing yin and calming the spirit.

Recommended Dosage
According to Him-che Yeung in Handbook of Chinese Herbs and Formulas, Vol. 2, the standard daily dose in decoction for this formula is 150 grams. Because of the 10:1 concentration ratio and the efficiency of our manufacturing process it would take only 21 capsules per day of Blue Poppy's version of this formula to equal the standard daily dose. The actual prescribed dose should be determined by the practitioner on a case by case basis.
