Description

Gui Zhi Tang, known as Cinnamon Twig Decoction, is a classical TCM formula that first appeared in the Shang Han Lun during the Han dynasty. This foundational five-herb formula supports the body's nutritive and defensive systems, helping to maintain harmony between the body's internal and external energetic functions.

Recommended Dosage

Four capsules, two to three times daily; or as loose granules, 4.5 g mixed with hot water, 2-3 times per day. However, always follow your healthcare provider's instructions, as the dosage can vary based on your condition and response to treatment.

Cautions

Women who are pregnant, nursing, or postpartum as well as people with liver disease, should avoid or use Gui Zhi Tang with caution.
