Accounts & Getting Started

Go to our wholesale application page and fill out the form. You'll need your professional license number (or school name and student ID if you're a student). We verify your credentials and approve your account — typically within two hours during business hours, or by 10 AM the next business day if you apply after 5 PM.

We serve licensed acupuncturists, doctors of Oriental medicine, naturopathic physicians, chiropractors with acupuncture certification, and other qualified healthcare practitioners as determined by individual states. If you're unsure whether your credential qualifies, apply anyway and we'll review it.

Most accounts are verified within two hours during business hours (M–F, 9 AM – 5:30 PM ET). Applications submitted after hours or on weekends are processed by 10 AM the next business day.

Students receive the same wholesale pricing as licensed practitioners. Select "Student" on the application form and provide your school name, student ID, and expected graduation date. We'll verify your enrollment and activate your account.

Make sure you're logged in. If you're logged in and still seeing retail prices, it usually means we weren't able to verify your license or student status. Contact us and we'll sort it out within the same business day.

Approved wholesale customers have access to our B2B portal, which provides your company's specific pricing, streamlined ordering, and complete order history. You'll receive access details when your company account is set up.

Ordering

You can order online at acu-market.com (fastest), call us at 866.440.7703 during business hours, or email sales@acu-market.com with your order details if you're an existing customer with a card on file.

Yes. Log into your account and go to your order history. You can view past orders and add items directly to your cart from there.

Maybe. Call us right away. If we haven't started packing your order in the warehouse, we can add items. Once it's in process, you'll need to place a separate order.

If something you ordered is out of stock, we'll backorder it as long as the backordered portion of your order is $50 or more. If the backordered items total less than $50, those items will be cancelled. When backordered items come back in stock, we ship them to you at no additional shipping cost.

You won't be charged for backordered items until they ship.

Yes. Enter your patient's name and address as the shipping address. We'll treat it as a drop shipment — no invoice or pricing information is included in the box. The handling fee for drop shipments is $7.95.

You can search by pin yin name (for example, "Xiao Yao San"), English name, brand name, or SKU. Our search matches across naming conventions, so searching "Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang" will surface that formula from every manufacturer we carry — Evergreen, Health Concerns, Blue Poppy, Sun Ten, and more.

No. Our website is our catalog — it's always up to date with current inventory, pricing, and product information. We'd rather keep things accurate than print something that's outdated the day it ships.

Once your professional or student account is approved, you see wholesale pricing automatically when you're logged in. No codes, no special links. Just log in and shop.

Yes. When you buy larger quantities of acupuncture needles, the per-unit price drops automatically at checkout. No coupon code needed — the discount is calculated based on the quantity in your cart.

If you find a lower advertised price from another supplier on the same product, let us know. We'll match it.

Yes. New practitioners receive 10% off their first order. Call us to place your first order with this discount applied.

Yes. Call us with your membership details and we'll apply your association discount.

Yes. Orders containing $100 or more in herbal formulas, extract powders, bulk herbs, spagyric products, and herbal accessories qualify for free economy shipping on the entire order. This applies to Saver/Economy rates only — Premium and expedited rates are not affected.

In-stock orders placed by 5 PM ET on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after 5 PM or on weekends ship the next business day.

We ship via UPS and USPS. The carrier is selected based on package weight, destination, and the service level you choose at checkout. You'll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.

Oversized or heavy items (treatment tables, bulk paper goods, large herb orders) ship at carrier-calculated rates based on actual weight and dimensions. These items are excluded from our flat-rate shipping tiers and free shipping thresholds. The carrier-calculated rate is applied in addition to standard shipping for the rest of your order.

Returns & Exchanges

You may return unopened products in saleable condition within 30 days of delivery, subject to the exceptions below. For full details, see our return policy.

Opened or used products, acupuncture needles (all needle sales are final once shipped), heat-sensitive products, perishable products, special orders or custom items, and international orders.

Log into your account, go to your order history, select the order containing the item you want to return, and submit a return request with the reason. We review requests within one business day and notify you whether the return is approved or denied. If approved, we'll provide shipping instructions.

For standard returns within policy, no. We may accept returns outside our standard policy at our discretion, and in those cases we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Contact us immediately. Keep the product and all packaging materials — the shipping carrier may need to inspect them. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you. If the error was ours (wrong item, defective product), we pay the return shipping.

Payment & Tax

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

We charge at the time of shipping. If part of your order is backordered, you won't be charged for those items until they ship.

It will appear as "Acu-Market."

Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address in states where we're required to collect. Many products may be tax-exempt depending on your state and reseller status. If you have a reseller certificate or tax-exempt certificate, email it to sales@acu-market.com and we'll update your account.

Double-check the card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address. All four have to match what your card issuer has on file. If everything looks correct and it's still declining, contact your card issuer — they may be blocking the transaction.

Products & Inventory

Some products — including acupuncture needles — are restricted by federal law to sale "to or on the order of" qualified practitioners as determined by individual states. You need a verified wholesale or student account to purchase these items. If you're already logged in and still can't add items, contact us to verify your account status.

Yes. We track lot numbers and expiration dates on applicable products through our inventory management system. If you need to look up a lot number from a past order for recall purposes or regulatory compliance, contact us and we'll pull it from our records.

Product pages show real-time inventory status. Stock levels update throughout the day as our inventory system syncs. If a product shows as available, it's in the warehouse ready to ship.

Check the product page — if we have a purchase order in the system, an expected restock date will be displayed. If there's no date shown, it means we don't have a confirmed restock timeline yet. Contact us and we can give you whatever information we have from the manufacturer.

AcuScript Virtual Dispensary

AcuScript is our virtual dispensary. You browse the Acu-Market catalog, select products for your patient, set your own price on each item, and send a branded checkout link. The patient pays your price, we ship from our warehouse, and you keep the difference between your wholesale cost and the patient price.

Nothing. No monthly fee, no per-order charge, no minimum volume. AcuScript is included with every Acu-Market wholesale account.

Register at acuscript.acu-market.com. If you already have an Acu-Market wholesale account, setup takes a few minutes.

You create a script in the AcuScript portal — selecting products, setting patient prices, and adding an optional personal note. AcuScript emails your patient a branded checkout link showing your photo, practice name, and the products at the prices you set. The patient clicks the link, enters their shipping and payment info, and completes the purchase. No account creation required on their end.

No. Patients only see the price you set. Your cost is never visible to them.

Your earnings — the markup between your wholesale cost and the patient price — are deposited directly to your bank account via ACH on the 5th of each month.

The full Acu-Market herbal formula, supplement, vitamin, homeopathic, and topical catalog — over 3,000 products from brands like Evergreen, Health Concerns, Kan Herbals, Blue Poppy, Treasure of the East, Sun Ten, and many more.

No. Patients check out as guests. They enter their shipping and payment information at checkout just like any other online purchase.

No, and it's not designed to handle Protected Health Information. Do not include diagnoses, medical conditions, or clinical notes in your product recommendations or patient messages.

Fullscript is a standalone platform — when your patient orders through Fullscript, they're buying from Fullscript's warehouse, not yours. AcuScript is integrated with your existing Acu-Market wholesale account. Same catalog, same pricing, same supply chain you already trust. And instead of taking a flat percentage, you set your own markup on every individual item.

Qi Rewards

Qi Rewards is our loyalty program. Every qualifying purchase earns you Qi (100 Qi = $1 in value). You can redeem Qi for free products, store credits, or free shipping. Our house brand products — Energy Flo, Peace, SMC, and MTP — earn at a higher rate than distributed brands.

Automatically, on every qualifying purchase. No opt-in required. Our house brand products earn more Qi per dollar spent than third-party brands. The idea is simple: the products with the best margins for us also earn the most for you.

Four tiers based on your annual spending: Seed, Root, Branch, and Blossom. Each tier increases your earning multiplier. You move up automatically as your purchases accumulate over a trailing 12-month period.

Log into your account to see your balance and redemption options. You can apply Qi toward free house brand products (the best deal per Qi spent), store credits, or free shipping.

Yes. Orders placed by phone through our team are entered as Shopify draft orders. When the order is paid, you earn Qi just like an online order.

Wholesale practitioners, students, and retail customers are all eligible. Distributor accounts and AcuScript patient orders are excluded.
