Jiang Ya Ping

 

Jiang Ya Ping – Prunella & Chrysanthemum Combination

Sedates liver yang, cools liver fire, calms internal wind, invigorates the blood, tonifies blood, nourishes liver and kidney yin, transforms phlegm, and clears fire.

 

Indications

According to TCM, rising blood pressure may be characterized by one or both of the following: 1. ascendant liver yang which is often associated with headache, dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, tightness or pain in the head, red face, restlessness and agitation, quickness to anger, bitter taste in the mouth, insomnia, tongue with red tip and/or edges with yellow coating, and bowstring pulse; 2. phlegm fire which is often associated with dizziness, heavy sensations in the chest, profuse phlegm including chunks of phlegm, nausea, vomiting, tightness or pain in the head, palpitations, bitter taste, yellow tongue coating, and slippery, fast and bowstring pulse. Jiang Ya Ping is used to sedate uprising yang and clear heat, and to transform phlegm and clear fire.

Dosage

500mg per capsule, 4 capsules two to three times daily.
