Mood Oral Drops, Guna
GUNA-MOOD
Guna-Mood expresses very well the PNEI philosophy of Guna medicines. The central core of this formulation is represented by two organotherapeutics: Pineal gland Porcine and
Thymus gland Porcine. Pineal gland Porcine has its point of action via the hormone that it produces Melatonin Melatonin regulates not only the circadian rhythms, but also the neuroendocrine homeostasis, and has a control on the mood tone. GUNA-Mood also contains two melatonin precursors: 5-hydroxy Tryptophan and Serotonin, the latter being well-known for its role in the control of mood.
Thymus gland Porcine modulates the hypothalamic activity, which regulates the gonads, and is in turn, regulated by them.
Phosphoricum acidum and Sepia are two homeopathic polycrests whose materia medica indications dictate their use in depressive states. Also Alfalfa and Avena sativa are used as neurotonics. The nosode Salmonella typhii is used for its symptomatologic similitude…the typhic illness pattern called "thyphic state", which is a condition characterized by depression, confusion, and delirium.
