Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix) 6g
Zhi Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma preparatum) 15g
Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix) 18g
Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) 9g
Fu Ling (Poria) 9g
Long Gu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi) [pre] 9g
Mu Li (Ostreae Concha) [pre] 9g
Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) [add] * 12g
Dai Zhe Shi (Haematitum) [pre] 2g
Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) **
Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) 12g
* Da Huang is in a separate bag, so that the practitioner can choose to either remove it from the process, cook it the full amount with the other herbs, or have the patient add it the last 5-10 minutes.
** Sheng Jiang is not included and should be added by the practitioner or patient before cooking. Sheng Jiang can be purchased at the local supermarket.
