The SMC Hand & Cosmetic needle is a Korean-made specialty needle purpose-built for hand acupuncture (Sooji Chim), ear points, and cosmetic facial work. At 0.18 x 8mm, it's fine enough for delicate superficial points while maintaining the shaft rigidity that Korean surgical stainless steel is known for. SMC needles are produced by a Korean manufacturing family with deep roots in the acupuncture needle industry, and the quality reflects that heritage.
